Objectives
Canaan Village is a fostering center of orphans of 0 to 12 years of age, independent of sex, religion and ethnicity group.
The objectives of Canaan Village are as follows:
Education, health, humanitarian and social acts are the domains of intervention of Canaan Village with an emphasis on child protection.
Actions
Reception and socio-educational care of orphans and vulnerable children.
Psychological and legal assistance of children.
Support to families whose children are at the center in their income generating activities.
The implementation of a sexual educational program for teenagers.
Social and family reinsertion for vulnerable children.
Prospects
In order to be more successful in the mission, Canaan Village intends to:
Build a new center to be able to receive more children.
Develop an agro pastoral farm for animal husbandry, agriculture and training.
Raise funds and build sponsorship system to respond to the center financial needs and placement in foster families.
