Canaan village NGO is a non-lucrative organization based in Togo (West Africa). Founded on 18th of August 2017, the NGO’s target is to improve orphans and vulnerable children’s life conditions in Togo and neighboring countries.
Welcome to Canaan Village
The goal of the organization is to fight for the social well-being of every human in general and particularly orphans and vulnerable children. Canaan Village is a fostering center of orphans of 0 to 12 years of age, independent of sex, religion and ethnicity group. The main objective is to provide a stable and peaceful life setting that gives access to education and / or vocational training. We do this to allow any kid to leave Canaan village with necessary skills for a good social insertion or immersion.
We aim to accommodate orphans and vulnerable children in all the regions of Togo and the neighboring countries.
Employees and Volunteers
The activities of Canaan Village are conducted by employees and volunteers under the supervision of a management team. The employees and the management team are subjected to a code of conduct designed to keep the activities in a sound and effective environment for the development of the children. All staff must treat children with respect and dignity, and foster with the relationships built on respect and mutual consideration in appropriate boundaries of a sound human relationship. Staff is also required to avoid any conduct that may hurt the feeling, the comfort and the easiness of the children.

The values that we defend on a daily basis are solidarity, acceptance, the maximum direct use of donations towards infants and young, transparency, direct contact with donors, openness and professionalism just to name a few.
